TECHNICAL FAQ: For proper viewing

BROWSERS: use Microsoft Internet Explorer^TM version 5.5 or higher. Get a free download from Microsoft here: download.  (Other web browser software may be unreliable.)

SCREEN RESOLUTION: this web has been designed for a monitor setting of 800 x 600 pixels, but it will work in higher resolutions. (You can check and easily change your monitor resolution settings in Microsoft Windows^TM "Control Panel," under the "Display" icon.)

MODEMS: cable or DSL internet service is highly recommended for this site due to the graphic content in the course. If you use a standard dial-up phone modem, you may experience average page loading delays of a minute or more per page. 

PRINTING: pages should print on 8.5 x 11 inch paper through Microsoft Internet Explorer^TM if you set the right and left margins to .25-inches or less. (Set your margins under "File," then "Page setup.") The heavy graphic nature of the course will drain your printer's ink supply, however. The course is intended to be experienced on screen, not on paper.
